Wedding Photography Frequently Asked Questions

Planning your wedding is a bit like gearing up for a military operation – full of excitement, endless research, and loads of detailed planning. Sorting out every little detail isn’t a walk in the park, I know. As your wedding photographer, I totally get that you’ve got questions about everything from the big picture to the tiniest detail. Don’t worry – I’m here to help you sort it all out.

About the Photographer & Portfolio

Who will be our wedding photographer?
At your wedding, it’ll be me – Radek – personally by your side with my camera from the preparations right through to the late-night party. I promise you’ll receive top-notch service and can count on me every single minute of your day.

Photography Style & Approach

What’s your photography style?
My wedding photography style is ‘creative documentary’ – I’m a creative photographer who tells genuine love stories. On your big day, I’ll aim to capture it as if you were watching it through your own eyes. I put a lot of energy into creative portraits and sessions, constantly seeking out interesting angles, light and backdrops. I use my unique techniques to transform wedding portraits into little works of art. All the photos you see on my site come from real weddings and portrait sessions.

Booking, Pricing & Packages

How do we book you for our wedding or photo session?
The first step is to send me a message through my website with the key details – your names, the date and location of your wedding or session. I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible to confirm availability. You can also share your wedding plans and expectations with me. I recommend using digital channels (WhatsApp, Messenger, Signal, Viber) as they make communication so much easier these days. Once you’re 100% sure you want me to capture your most beautiful day, we’ll sign a contract and reserve your date. All booking and payment procedures are handled online, with a £400 deposit due upon signing and the balance payable four weeks before your wedding or session.

Services & Deliverables

Do you photograph wedding details and family portraits?
Yes, absolutely – a wedding photography collection wouldn’t be complete without the details and family portraits. I capture all the images you’d expect from a wedding photographer, but I also aim to go beyond that by delivering photos you never even imagined.

Travel & Destination Weddings

Do you offer wedding photography and sessions abroad?
Absolutely! I love travelling and photographing weddings in all sorts of locations – whether large or intimate, in the city or out in nature, across Europe or in more exotic destinations. Capturing my couples against new, unique backdrops is a dream come true. Logistically, I recommend arriving at the venue at least one day early to scout locations and minimise any delays. If I haven’t been to your chosen venue before, I usually ask to come a day early to familiarise myself with your dream spot. All overseas wedding bookings include a photo session the day after the ceremony.

Experience with Different Wedding Types

Do you offer wedding photography and sessions abroad?
I’ve shot at hundreds of locations, so there’s a good chance I’ve been to your venue before. If not, I’ll arrive early on the day to scout out the best spots for photos. I also do some online research before your big day.

Equipment & Backup

What kind of photographic equipment do you use for weddings?
A great photographer can capture amazing images of almost anything, but having the right, reliable tools – and knowing how to use them – really makes a difference. I shoot exclusively with professional Nikon gear, including full-frame bodies, fast prime lenses, professional zooms and lighting equipment. Currently, my favourite wedding camera is the Nikon Z9.

Contingency Plans & Insurance

What happens if you fall ill on our wedding day?
Throughout my career, I’ve never had to cancel my attendance at a wedding due to illness. If I’m not critically ill or significantly less mobile, I’ll push through – I even once photographed a wedding with a sprained ankle without compromising the quality of my work. However, in the unlikely event of sudden illness, I always have a backup photographer on standby.
