Mytton Fold Hotel Wedding

The Stunning Wedding at Mytton Fold Hotel

What a day! As a Manchester wedding photographer, I’m always on the hunt for unique venues, and Mytton Fold Hotel in rural Langho didn’t disappoint. From the moment I arrived, I knew this Mytton Fold wedding was going to be something special.

The bride and her squad—three bridesmaids and one very enthusiastic bridesman—were tucked away in a cosy suite at the hotel, getting glammed up by a top-notch makeup artist and hairdresser. Hair clips flying, laughter echoing off the walls, and champagne flutes at the ready: it was bridal prep perfection. Meanwhile, downstairs, the groom and his best man strolled in a bit later (let’s be honest, gents don’t need nearly as much time for getting-ready photos) and cracked on with tying ties and adjusting cufflinks.

Come ceremony time, all fifty guests had gathered in the charming function room. The air was buzzing with excitement—there’s something about seeing friends and family perched on velvet chairs that really sets the scene for some epic wedding photography moments. After they said “I do,” everyone spilled outside for a confetti shower at the grand entrance. Confetti in hair, confetti in shoes—it was gloriously messy and beautifully candid.

Next up, family portraits on the front steps (always a classic). Then, the newlyweds and I sneaked off to the lush green garden for a few romantic shots. The light filtering through the trees? Absolute magic. If you’re looking for that blend of intimate and natural backdrops, a Mytton Fold wedding garden session is a must.

Dinner was served in the main hall—round tables were adorned with fairy lights and floral runners. Speeches had us in stitches one moment and reaching for tissues the next. Heartfelt, hilarious, and way too many inside jokes for this post (you had to be there!).

As evening fell, the first dance kicked off with a live band and indoor sparklers. Cue jaws dropping and phones flashing. Soon enough, guests joined in, and the dance floor was buzzing until late.

If you’re scouting for a wedding photographer who knows how to capture genuine fun—and who just so happens to be a Manchester wedding photographer—drop me a line. I’d love to chat about turning your big day into unforgettable images!
