My Beginnings in Destination Wedding Photography
I was 10 when I bought my first photo camera, mostly interested in landscape and nature photography. Capturing the beauty and phenomenon of Mother Nature really fed my soul and attributed to my love of travel. I could use my camera for hours, taking breathtaking shots, which I could later share with my family and friends. Then I received a challenging offer to capture my friends’ wedding ceremony and realized that beauty wasn’t from atop a mountain, behind the streams, or hidden in the woods — beauty and breathtaking moments exists everywhere we look — between two people in love, between people making commitments to share their lives together ... it is between human beings giving love and taking love.
This wedding session changed my approach to photography, and I discovered something much more amazing and unique — humans emotions, feelings, and connection to the family members and friends. They really inspired me, they inspired my journey through a new world, which was dynamic and unpredictable — where every second was meaningful and one of a kind. I got the feeling I needed to catch those moments forever. And here I am, I got into my new photo world with a passion and joy. This is what makes me happy. Because hopefully, it will make you happy. You will see many of the best photos are when you are naturally, candidly enjoying just being with each other celebrating — not looking at me or the camera. Just BE your story — and I will dress it in pictures.
I look forward to this journey with you! Much Love, Radek
